A family history written by Lucille Rader states:
"It was a treat when the clan spent the day at Uncle Nelt's , when the Raders from Huntington County were vacationing in Fulton County. As I remember it, Uncle Nelt's barn was the largest I have ever seen. Uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews played games in the roomy barn. Those games and the bounteous meal were highlights of the day."
Jane and William lived two miles southeast of Akron until they moved to North Dakota.
